Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you use crency.agency. It is written against what the site actually does — if the site changes, this page changes with it.

Who is responsible

Crency, a design and web development studio. For anything on this page — a question, a correction, or a request to delete what we hold — write to hellocrency@gmail.com. We answer from the same address.

What we collect, and only when you send it

The site has two forms — the contact page and the “let’s discuss” popup. Both ask for the same things:

• your name and email address (required — without them we cannot reply);
• your company or website, if you give one;
• your message;
• the budget range and the service you pick from the two dropdowns.

Along with the form we record which page you sent it from and which button opened it. That is context for answering you properly, not a profile of your visit.

Nothing on this site is collected passively. There is no account, no newsletter, and no tracking pixel firing on page load. If you do not submit a form, we receive nothing from you at all.

Where it goes

A submitted form is delivered as a message to our private team chat on Telegram, and nowhere else. There is no database and no CRM behind this site: the message is the record. It reaches Telegram over an encrypted connection and is retained in that chat until we delete it — normally once the conversation it started has ended, and in any case on request.

We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not pass it to anyone outside the studio.

What the site stores in your browser

One key, pt-pos, in sessionStorage. It remembers where the page-transition animation stopped so the next page picks it up mid-stride instead of snapping. It holds a number, identifies nobody, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

The site sets no cookies of its own.

Analytics

The site is prepared for Google Tag Manager, which — where it is enabled — loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Google may set its own cookies for that and processes the data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Analytics is aggregate: it tells us that a page was read, not who read it. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on or by blocking the script in your browser — the site works exactly the same either way.

Hosting and logs

The site runs on Vercel, which serves the pages and keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser, requested page — as any web server does. Our contact endpoint also holds the IP addresses of recent submissions in memory for ten minutes, purely to stop one sender flooding the form. It is never written to disk and never leaves the server.

Outbound links

Case studies link to the sites we built, and the footer links to our Instagram and LinkedIn. Once you follow one, you are on someone else’s site under their policy, not ours.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will, without conditions and without asking why. One email to hellocrency@gmail.com is enough.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not revise it quietly.
