How much a Webflow website costs to build
Our builds start at $1,000 and fall into the four bands on our own contact form: $1k–$3k, $3k–$7k, $7k–$15k and $15k+.
$1k–$3k buys a landing page or a compact site built from a design that already exists. $3k–$7k is a marketing site with several pages and collections your team edits. $7k–$15k is a bigger site, or a smaller one designed from scratch. Above that there is usually a system behind the site: accounts, integrations, a marketplace. The full breakdown is in what a website costs.
Most full Webflow sites we ship go live in about three weeks. The timeline matters to the price because most of the cost is time, and most lost time is spent waiting for decisions, not building.
What the Webflow plan adds
On top of the build, the site needs a Webflow site plan. It covers hosting, the CDN, SSL, backups and the custom domain, and it replaces the separate host, theme, plugins and security subscriptions a WordPress site carries.
The figure depends on the plan and on paying monthly or yearly, and Webflow revises it from time to time, so check the current number on Webflow's pricing page before budgeting. The structure matters more than the figure: one site plan per website, plus editor seats if several people build in the Designer. Webflow hosting, explained.
Who pays it: you, on your own account. The plan should be in your name from day one, which is part of a proper handover.
Four things that move the number
A design file, or none. Building from a finished Figma file costs less than designing first. With no design, we design in Figma, you approve it, then we build. See Figma to Webflow.
Distinct layouts, not pages. Thirty blog posts from one template cost far less than ten pages that each look different.
Collections. Content your team edits as items, such as team members, services or case studies, takes a little longer to set up and saves time on every update afterwards.
Motion and integrations. Scroll-driven animation, a second language, a CRM or a booking tool each add time. They are worth it when they serve the sale and a cost when they don't.
Webflow, a builder, or custom code
A builder such as Wix or Squarespace costs less to start and is the right answer for a brochure on a small budget. The trade-offs are in Webflow vs Wix.
Custom code costs more to build and more to change, because every edit goes through a developer. It earns its place when the site is really an application.
Webflow sits between them: a designed site your team edits itself, hosted without a stack of plugins. That middle is why most of our marketing sites end up there.
Three weeks, one continuous scroll
Chaiflow sells Indian masala chai in a capsule, and the site had to make a shortcut feel like the ritual it replaces.
It is one continuous scroll story with scroll-driven motion, built in Webflow and live in three weeks.
That is roughly the shape of a site in the middle bands: one strong idea, executed carefully, delivered on a date agreed before the work started.
Questions we get asked
How much does a Webflow website cost?
The build typically starts at $1,000 for a landing page or compact site and runs $3k–$7k for a marketing site with editable content, more for larger or custom-designed sites. On top of that, a Webflow site plan for hosting is paid monthly or yearly.
Is Webflow cheaper than WordPress?
Often over a few years, though not always at the start. The site plan replaces the separate hosting, theme, plugins and maintenance a WordPress site needs, which is where WordPress costs hide. See what staying on WordPress costs.
Do I have to pay Webflow every month?
Yes. A site plan is needed for the site to be live on your domain, billed monthly or yearly, and it covers hosting, SSL, the CDN and backups. The build itself is a one-off cost.
How long does a Webflow website take to build?
A landing page from a finished design in under a week, a full site with a CMS in about three weeks. What extends it is waiting on content and decisions, not the build.
